Barbara Marie Levandier (Boudreau)
August 11, 2021

Levandier, Barbara Marie (Boudreau) – 85; formerly of Dartmouth, NS
With great sorrow the family of Barbara Levandier announces her passing, of natural causes, on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. Barbara will forever be remembered by, Dale (Frances Markel) and Douglas (Geralyn), her devoted sons. She will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Joel (Tara), Michael, Marie and Suzanne, and great-grandchildren, Madalyn, Logan, Taya, Liam and Leighton, as well as many nieces and nephews. Barb was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Douglas, her sister, Nancy, her parents, Placide and Kate (Richard), and Nicholas, her grandson.
Born in Port Felix, Guysborough Co., NS, Barb maintained many friendships with people from “down home”, however her grandchildren were her greatest joy.
Due to Covid-19 concerns there will be no wake. A memorial service will be held at 11 am, September 10, at Saint John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 35 Colby Dr., Dartmouth, NS. Following the service, Barb’s ashes will be interred, reuniting with Douglas, at Dartmouth Memorial Gardens under the guidance of the Dartmouth Funeral Home. On-line condolences may be offered at: www.dartmouthfuneralhome.ca.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at the York Care Centre in Fredericton, NB, who provided the care Barb needed during her last years. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the York Care Foundation.
