Barbara Joan Duncan Smith 2021

Another Angel has gained her wings. Former spouse of the late Hartley L. Duncan (2001) and the late Ernest F. Smith (1997). Loving mother of Stephen (Sandy Smith), late Ernest Albert Smith (2018), Karen (Doug Parent) and Kirk Smith (James). Proud and loving grandmother of six and great-grandmother of five. Dearest sister of Florine (late Pete Tudrick) and Roger (late Shirley). Predeceased by her siblings Gloria Masse (late Homer) and Donna Marion. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Barbara’s greatest love in life was her family. She will always be remembered for her sense of humour, her smile, her loving ways and generosity. She never shied away from sharing a beer with the people she loved. If you so desire, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. On Wednesday, March 3, 2021 reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend visitation from 3-5 and 7:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 8:00 p.m. at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841. You can reserve your time for visitation or seat for the service at FamiliesFirst.ca (RSVP) or by calling directly. Cremation to follow.
