It is with deep sadness, we wish to announce the death of Barbara Copplestone, which occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on April 8, 2021, at the age of 63.
Born in Toronto, Ontario on August 1, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Virginia (Slaunwhite) and the late James Dean.
Barb worked in customer service at a donut shop in Ontario for many years before changing her occupation to Home Health Care. She spent many hours taking care of elderly citizens and enjoying spending time with her clients. She loved being in the outdoors with family and friends, spending time on the computer and playing games.
Barb is survived by: her common-law husband: John Russell, daughters: Tammy (Jerry), Michelle (Jeffrey) and Pamela; Grandchildren: Alyssa, Brianna, Sunita, Isabelle, and Addison. Two brothers: Ken Dean (Kim) of Stayner, Ontario, Jack Dean (Kim) of Ontario, and sister: Cathy Dean Turner (John) of Wooler, Ontario, along with several nieces and nephews and in-laws.
Besides her father and mother, she was predeceased by: brothers: James and Ross; sister: Donna, her brother-in-law: Leonard Roussel, and sister-in-law: Edith Robichaud.
At Barb’s request there will be no visitation or Funeral Services.
