Obituary of Avery Raye Nason
Mr. Avery Raye Nason was born in McAdam, NB on August 26, 1950; he was the son of the late Gordon “Smillie” and Marjorie (Stannix) Nason.
Avery was a man of many words, he loved to talk and especially loved to tell stories. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh and make others laugh.
He loved to stay active and was a huge lover of sports. He had a passion for golf, hunting and curling and of course a die-hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan.
Avery was a hard working man. He retired from NB Power after over 35 years as a chemical engineer.
He is survived by his daughters: Lisa and Lindsey; his sister, Janice Casavant of Kelowna; his brother, Randy Nason of Halifax; his niece, Dr Amy Nason; as well as several close friends and extended family members.
Mr Avery Raye Nason of Sus passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on January 7, 2021 at the age of 70.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, NB (506-433-1176) Due to Covid-19, all arrangements will be held at a later date.
