Audrey E. Mulholland
Sydney Mines
We, the family of Audrey E. Mulholland are heartbroken to announce her passing on Saturday, March 6, 2021, after a short and courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Sydney Mines on March 16, 1951, Audrey was the daughter of the late Hugh Angus and Ruth (Bonnar) MacDonald.
She was the loving mother of Graham (Levina), Kenny (Holly), Jon (Kim), and Lisa (Jason). Left to grieve Audrey’s passing are her 13 grandchildren, whom she adored, Rhiannon, Paige, Athenna, Matthew, Michaela, Brighton, Preston, Janelle, Kiana, Jalyn, Jessica, Ryan, and Kelsey, and great-granddaughter Isabella. Audrey is also survived by her loving sister Hughann (Doody) Reashore (Davy), brother Jack (Anne Marie) MacDonald, many nieces and nephews, and a large circle of friends.
Besides her parents, Audrey was predeceased by her husband Graham, son Michael Robert (Bobby), brothers Colin and Mick MacDonald, and sisters Mae Ivey and Sandy MacLean.
Those who knew Audrey the best knew that Disney World was her happy place.
Her dream was to visit there one more time. We are comforted by knowing she is eternally in the Lord’s Magic Kingdom, reunited with her husband, son, and family that have passed before her. Audrey always ended each phone call with “I love you to the moon and back, and to infinity and beyond.”
As per her wishes, there will be no service or visitation. The family would like to thank the staff of 4B and the Palliative Care Team of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for their professionalism and compassionate care.
Donations in Audrey’s memory may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation. Words of comfort may be forwarded to her family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com
Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, and dreams are forever.
