Obituary
MELLON, Audrey
Audrey gained her wings on May 31, 2021 and is reunited with Chuck and all of her family who left this earth before her. Audrey was born on October 17, 1927 in Herb Lake, MB, to Gilly and Hazel Gislason. Audrey was one of nine children. She had seven sisters and one brother. In 1945 Audrey met the love of her life Chuck Mellon and they soon were married on January 19, 1946. They had three beautiful daughters and lived in Northern Manitoba. Audrey was a confident hard working woman all of her life. She has many stories which include shooting a moose in her yard. Audrey had a strong faith in the Lord and it guided her throughout her life. She was not afraid to die because she knew who was waiting for her on the other side. We know she walked straight through those gates and was welcomed with God’s open arms. We will miss Audrey’s unconditional love. We will miss her smile, her hugs, her laugh, her dancing, and most definitely her cooking. She was one of kind. She will forever be remembered and loved by her children, Shirley (Gerald) Moen, Hazel (John) Perepeluk, Eunice Mellon, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. A Private Service will be held. Arrangements in care of David Schurr – Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200.
