Obituary
Taylor, Audrey Chistine
(nee McMeeken)
November 6, 1947 – March 1, 2021
Passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on March 1, 2021 in her 74th year at the Woodstock General Hospital with family by her side. Beloved wife of her devoted husband and best friend, James Taylor and loving mother of their two children, Gerald Taylor (wife Cathy) and Kimberly Roddick (husband Jeff). She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren who were a big part of her life: Sara King (husband Patrick), Matthew Taylor (Amber), Cole Roddick (Katherine), Amy Roddick (DJ), Jason Taylor and Jordan Taylor. Audrey was very blessed to have the opportunity to enjoy 6 great grandchildren: Cassidy, Seth, Ashton, Shelby, Hunter and Dakota King.
Audrey was a very respected lady by all of her friends and co-workers. She spent over 25 years working at the Oxford Regional Centre and Community Group Homes.
Her honesty, friendliness and quick wit endeared her to all who came in contact with her. She loved to spend time with her close friends playing bingo, cards and many other games. She was a remarkable lady, who was a tremendous role model to all of her family and friends. She will be sorely missed, but fondly remembered.
Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock, Ontario on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 1:00-2:00 pm. (Visitors are required to RSVP for the visitation on the funeral home website, spaces are limited). A Celebration of Life for Audrey will take place at a later date.
