Obituary of Auberte Celine Cattoor
Cattoor: Auberte Celine –
A resident of Chatham, Auberte Cattoor passed away surrounded by her loved ones at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on August 24, 2021 at the age of 83.
Born in Lorrainville, Auberte was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Mathilde (Chenier) Bellehumeur.
Beloved wife of the late Josef Cattoor (2015) and the late André Duquette (1973).
Loving mother to Marie-Paule (Luc) Samson of Sherbrooke, QC, Michel (Tracy) Duquette of Chatham, Normand (Francine) Duquette of Huntsville, Marie-Nöelle (Rob) Whittal of Thamesville and Claude Duquette of Chatham.
Grandmother of eleven grandchildren and great-grandmother of fourteen.
Sister to Pauline (late Aldor) Perreault, Gerard (Rosanne) Bellehumeur, Vital Bellehumeur, Daniel (Carole) Bellehumeur, and predeceased by Françoise, Bruno, and Noel.
Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Auberte did everything for her children and always put them first before herself. She will be truly missed for all her multi-talented works of art and the joyous smile she brought to others throughout her life.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service and burial will take place at Immaculée Conception sometime in mid October.
Donations made in memory of Auberte to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
