Arvin McCarter – age 86 of Blaine passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021. He was a member of Indian Ridge Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by son, Glenn McCarter; son-in-Law, Gary Tweed; parents, Alden and Delilah McCarter; brothers, Raymond, Sherrill, and Neal McCarter; sisters, Reba (Roger) Roach, Doris (Paul) Fish, Barbara (James) Cameron; and brothers-in law, Kenneth Roach and Dennis Myers.
Survived by daughter, Diane Tweed; grandchildren, Albert Ivey, Mikey (Heather) Ivey, Calvin McCarter, and Anita McCarter; many great grandchildren; sisters, Alma Myers and Edith Roach; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Bridges Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM with Rev. Joe Bailey and Pastor Trent Ivey officiating. Family and friends will gather at 11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home and go in procession to Indian Ridge Cemetery for a 12:00 PM interment. Pallbearers will be nephews: Charles McCarter, David Roach, Stanley Roach, Denny Myers, Gary Cameron, and Shawn Spears.
