Arthur Nowlan
1923-2021
Arthur Nowlan, 97, of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, passed away peacefully at
the Dr Georges -L- Dumont UHC, on Saturday March 20, 2021. He was
married to Rita (Maillet) Nowlan. Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, he was
the son of the late Robert and the late Clara (Ouellette) Nowlan.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Rita, his children; Bernice
Nowlan of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Jeannette Nowlan, Claudette Nowlan,
both of Dieppe, Guy (Exelda), Claude (Janice) both of
Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, his grandchildren; Marie-France, Marc and
Martin. He also leaves to mourn his brother Jim (Irène) of
Moncton and several nieces and nephews.
Arthur was predeceased by five sisters; May, Lilianne, Stella,
Délina, Rosée and eight brothers; Johnny, Robert, Edgar,
Abel, Joe, Émile, Edouard and Albert.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, a private visitation and
funeral service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in the
Notre-Dame-du Mont-Carmel cemetery.
In Arthur’s memory a donation can be made to the Heart and
Stroke Foundation.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
