Arthur’s Obituary
Forsyth, Arthur Lewis – Age 88 of Spa Springs, Annapolis Co., passed away Saturday April 3, 2021 at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Middleton, he was the youngest son of the late, Harlan and Stella (Neary) Forsyth. Arthur worked for the Department of Highways but was also a devoted farmer all his life. He kept beef cattle and dairy cattle, shipping milk to Farmers Dairy for many years. He and his Border Collie, Dixie would go for a jeep ride each day. Arthur is survived by his wife, Joan (Smith); son, Lewis Forsyth both of Spa Springs; daughter, Lisa (Scott) Cruikshank, Wilmot; brother-in-law, Arthur (Carol) Smith, Liverpool; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Arthur was predeceased by his sister, Greeta Porter and brother, Lawrence Forsyth. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will take place at a later date in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., Middleton toll free 1-855-825-3448. Donations in memory may be made to Victorian Order of Nurses – Annapolis Valley Branch.
