Arthur Joseph Lacasse – It is with heartfelt sadness that the hard working, witty man born on April 9, 1937 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on December 18, 2021.
Dear son of the late Ernest and Marie- Claire (nee Bourcier) the beloved husband of Jeannette( nee Lamothe), Loving father to Mike (Debbie), Denise, Louise ( pre-deceased ( Bob) , Art ( Nancy) , Jean-Guy ( Amanda) . Cherished Pepere to Sheldon, Justin, Matthieu, Brandi, Dana, Natalie, Elle, Carter, Porter. Blessed Great Pepere to 9 precious Great grand children. Caring brother to Edouard ( pre-deceased), Juliette ( Denis pre-deceased), Richard ,Diane( pre-deceased), Luke ( pre-deceased), Claire ( Rick), Simone ( Ron pre- deceased, Ernie ( pre-deceased) and Denis ( Ruth).
He worked 38 long, hard years at the Espanola Paper Mill and loved nothing more than to spend his extra time working on the farm, cutting wood, and hunting with his boys. He was a man of few words but will forever be remembered for his amusing entertainment. He will be cherished and missed by everyone who knew him, including friends and neighbours.
A big thank you goes out to PSW’s and Bay Shore nurses who cared for him in these last weeks and special thanks to Jessica and Chantal for their compassion and care.
He will forever be remembered as Pepere.

Due to Covid Restrictions at the Family’s request there will be No Service at this time. Cremation with a Celebration of Life and interment in the Espanola Cemetery will be at a later date.
