Arthur Goobie April 20 1930 – May 22 2021

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Arthur Goobie announce his passing at the G.B. Cross Hospital in Clarenville on May 22, 2021. He was 91 years of age. He was predeceased by his wife Lena Goobie and his parents George and Phoebe Goobie and four sisters and three brothers. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his three children Roxanne Harbin (Derek), Paula Evans (Mike) and Arthur Goobie Jr. Grandchildren Andrew Harbin (Jennifer), Heidi Tuttle (Tommy) Heather Harbin (Trevor), Sarah Hammond (Andy), Samantha Buelow (Dayton), Stephen Evans (Brianna), also his great grandchildren Allie Harbin and Asher Harbin, Benjamin Hammond, Scarlett Buelow, Bentley Buelow, Eli Buelow and Willow Evans. Also leaving to mourn his brother Rex Goobie (Mary) and a large circle of family and friends. Visitations are taking place at Zion Pentecostal Church in North West Brook on Monday, May 24 and Tuesday, May 25 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be 2 PM on Wednesday, May 26 at the Zion Pentecostal Church, North West Brook with interment to follow at the United Cemetery, Queen’s Cove. Please contact the family if you wish to attend during a visitation time. Funeral service is by invite only. Covid-19 regulations will be followed.
