Bathurst- At his residence, surrounded by his family on Tuesday July 27th, 2021, Arthur Doiron, husband of Ernestine Thériault passed away at the age of 86, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was predeceased by his parents Ubald and Lauza (Pinet) and his brothers and sisters.
Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his children: Gaston (Federico Murcia), Micheline (Craig Laventure), Serge (LeeAnne Reeves), Paul Doiron (Angela Grey) and grandchildren: Coralie (Thomas Babineau), Chloé and Dominic all of whom he was extremely proud. He is also survived by one brother, Raoul (Yvette Blanchard); sisters: Dorina, Dorice, Adrienne (Ernie Maclaughlin) and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-laws from the Thériault family as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Extra Mural program for the excellent end of life care given to Arthur at home.
Donations in memory of Arthur may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
As requested by the family, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday August 5th, 2021 at 2 p.m. from Sacred Heart Cathedral in Bathurst followed by the burial in Paroisse Marie-L’Immaculée Cemetery in Paquetville.
