1929-2021
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Arnold
Raymond Thomas of Centreville, NB on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at
the Hotel Dieu Hospital, Perth Andover. Arnold was born in Lower
Knoxford, NB on June 6, 1929 to the late John and Eliza (Kilpatrick)
Thomas. He is also predeceased by brothers, Ralph, Miles, Harold and
Donald.
Arnold worked on the farm in Lower Knoxford for many years, he also
drove truck; hauling potatoes, hay, straw, fertilizer, asphalt and
gravel .
Arnold is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Cora (Reid) Thomas;
3 children, Brenda, Reid (Suzanne) and Joanne (Michael); 2 grandson,
Cal (Alana) and Evan(Mariah); 3 great grand children, Kai, Kari and
Finn; 1 brother, Ray Thomas as well as several nieces, nephews and
extended family.
Respecting Arnold’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral
service. A private family interment will be held in the Centreville
Baptist Cemetery. If so desired, donations made to the River Valley
Cancer Support Group would be appreciated.
Arnold’s family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the
Hotel Dieu Hospital for their care and compassion. L.R. Giberson
