1939-2021
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing
of Arleen Stella Laforest, of Woodstock, NB, on March 21, 2021. Born
in Northampton NB October 10th, 1939, she was
the daughter of the late Edgar and Della (Cole)
Colwell.
Arleen graduated High school in Woodstock, and went on to
Teachers College in Fredericton, where she met her husband
O’nil in the fall of 1958. In 1960 they were married, and
enjoyed 57 Beautiful years together.
Arleen is survived by her sons James (Linda), Mitchell
(Jennifer), and Joseph (Sandra); Grandchildren Jennifer, David
(Jessica), Megan, Matthew, Nicholas, Jonathan, Makale, and Sheldon;
great grandchildren Haylee, Kennedy and Zachary; Daughters in law Kim
Laforest, and Martha Briand-Piercy (Greg); and many nieces, nephews
and extended family on both sides of the family.
Arleen was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband
O’nil; Two sons Jeoffrey and Stephen; Two sisters Noreen
(Late Eugene), and Marilyn (Duane)
There will be a visitation from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, March
23rd at The Carleton Funeral Home
& Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road
Jacksonville NB. A service will be held on Wednesday, March
24th at noon at St Gertrude’s
Catholic Church.
For those who wish, donations in Arleen’s memory
may be made to the Upper River Valley Cancer Support
Group.
Due to COVID 19 social distancing and masks are
required.
