It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Arch Spencer of Marystown announces his passing. Mr. Spencer passed away surrounded by his loving family at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s on Tuesday, December 14th, 2021 at the age of 91.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife, Margaret of 67 years; sons, Eugene (Theresa), Don, Cal (Julie), and Dennis (Sherry); daughters, Jean Joyce (Randy), Shirley Brown (Alec), Maureen Shea (Dale), and Roselle Crocker (Steve); daughter-in-law, Barbara Spencer; 20 grandchildren, Scott (Sandra), Cindy (Terry), Tracey Lynn (Curtis), Ashley (Tyrone), Randy (Garlanda), Matthew (Kelly), Alec Jr. (Heather), Amanda, Rod (Melissa), Charlene (Brad), Trina (Martin), Samantha (Andrew), Bradley (Adrianna), Ryan (Stephanie), Hayley, Allan (Samantha), Dylan (Sarah), Andrew, Jordan, Spencer (Sarah); 24 great-grandchildren, Luke, Valerie, Christopher (Brittany), T.J. (Riley), Peyton, Jaxon, Brookelyn, Hudson, Aubrey, Blake, Kaitlynn, Brayden, Jewel, Zack, Austin, Ava, Logan, Liam, Naomi, Kendall, Payton, Caleb, Charlotte, and Layla; great-great-grandchildren, Charliee and Carter; sisters, Joan Power, and Sharon Walsh; sister-in-law, Doreen Spencer; plus a large number of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Vincent & Mary Ann Spencer; sons, Adrian and Arch Spencer Jr.; grandson, Jonathan Shea; sisters, Jean Dober, Katherine Collins and Sadie Kelly; and brothers, Vincent and Lee Spencer.

When entering the funeral home you will be required to show proof of vaccination and a photo ID. Everyone is asked to sign the contact tracing sheet upon entering the building and masks are required.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Saturday, December 18th, 2021. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Marystown. Please note, that proof of vaccination and id will be required. For any that are unable to attend, the service will be live-streamed and accessible on our website.
