Antonio’s Obituary
With profound sadness we announce the passing of Antonio at home on December 7th, 2021 in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Maria Correia for over 43 years. Proud father of Mike Correia (Brandi VanGemert). Loving grandfather to Lucas Correia and Juliana Correia. Predeceased by his parents Jose Joaquim and Edebierto. Dear brother of Normenia (the late Manuel), Maria Jose (the late Daniel), Alberto (Adelaide), the late Jose Eduardo, and Domingos (Gabriela). Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whose lives he touched. Antonio will be forever remembered for his love of watching soccer. He took great pride in his gardening and always enjoyed going on long walks. Visitation will be held at Friscolanti Funeral Home (43 Barton St E, Hamilton) on Thursday, December 9th from 2-4p.m. and 7-9p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 12p.m. on Friday, December 10th, 2021 at St. Mary’s Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. In keeping with COVID-19 precautions, all guests must practice physical distancing and wear a face covering. In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Mary’s Church would be appreciated by the family.
