Obituary
ZSELINSZKY, Antal (Tony)
After a courageous battle with cancer, passed on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at home in Lindsay, with his family by his side. Born February 16, 1937 in Hungary. Tony played soccer for the Hungarian National Junior Allstars. Antal emigrated in 1956. He played in Nance, France, then for Derby County, England, Winnipeg, Toronto, Sudbury and the Rochester Cosmos N.Y. Tony was an avid sportsman and a master bowler. He enjoyed a successful career at Foster Wheels and General Motors (St. Catherine’s) until his retirement, when he moved to the home he built on Stinson Bay where he enjoyed boating, fishing, and golfing. Tony was a die hard Blue Jays fan, and loved cards, bingo, casinos, horseracing, travelling, romantic movies, and even Karaoke! Tony was an incredible cook. He was a mentor to many. He was a true humanitarian. We will miss his unique sense of humour and his phenomenal love for family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Libby. Missed by his beloved daughter Melissa, Brother-in-law Jeff (Kelly), Niece Mary, and grandpuppy, “Bashy”. Special thanks to Dr. Elena Mihu, Lisa and Nellie. PSW Darlene Vanhalteren, and his “Birthday Buddy” and nurse, Lisa Rousch.
