Antal Tony Nagy Friday January 1st 2021

Nagy, Antal (Tony)
Passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer, on January 1, 2021 at the Juravinski Hospital in his 68th year. Predeceased by his loving wife of 20 years, Elizabeth Mary Nagy (nee Zavodni) in 2015. Tony spent many years attentively caring for his wife who passed following a lengthy illness with cancer. Tony is predeceased by his dear mother, Anna Badogon. Tony is also predeceased by his brother-in-law, Dr. Louis Zavodni and survived by his sister-in-law, Anna. Tony is survived by his nieces and nephew, Mary (Tim), Anna (Glen) and Louis (Stephanie). Tony will be missed by his dear friends, Zoltan Pivonka, Veronica Bettig and John Szebegyinszki. Tony could always count on friendliness and assistance from his considerate and kind-hearted neighbours, Wayne, Bill and Len. Tony and his dear wife cherished their days with their dogs (Bodri, Tundi and Coco). A special thanks to his pharmacists, Sam and Maureen, for their gentle support and attentiveness to his care needs for so many years.
Much gratitude to the doctors, nurses and extended staff at Juravinski Hospital for their compassion and expert care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Center would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions a private family service and burial has taken place. Funeral arrangements entrusted to P.X. Dermody Funeral Homes.
