Annie’s Obituary
Annie Mabel Vincent (nee Pond) passed peacefully away at North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, in the presence of her family, on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at the age of 89 years. She was born on August 28, 1932, at Greenspond, to Joseph and Lydia (Osmond) Pond.
Annie is predeceased by her husband Earl Vincent; parents Joseph and Lydia Pond; brother Cecil Pond; and half-brother Abel Abbott.
She leaves to mourn daughter Linda (Hogni) Magnussen; two sons, Chris (Sheila) Vincent, Keith (Ruth) Vincent; three grand children, Darryl Hammond, Kenny (Catherine Cairns) Hammond, Christa Vincent; great grand children, Sophia, Cole and Ailie; sister Trixie (Donald) Harris; half-sisters Jessie Collins, Shirley (Max) Goulding, Ivy Trickett; and a large number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Her family extends special thanks to the staffs of Pleasantview Manor, Bonnews Lodge and North Haven Manor for the excellent care that they provided to our mother in recent years.
Visitation and Funeral Service will be for the immediate family and invited guests only, following government COVID regulations.
Donations in Annie’s memory may be made to St. Matthew’s United Church, Lewisporte, cemetery fund.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte.
