Obituary
July 25th, 1934 ~ March 20th, 2021
On March 20th, 2021 Annie Dowhan of Thorhild, Alberta passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving and devoted family at the age of 86.
She is survived by her sons, Morris (Lori) of Thorhild, Lorry(Chris) of Radway, and Shane (Wendy) of Thorhild. Grandchildren Dana (Vicki) Dowhan of Michigan, Kristy (Greg) Lewis of Bon Accord, Travis (Wendy) Dowhan of Radway, Tiffany Dowhan of Edmonton, Cody Dowhan of Thorhild and Lee Dowhan of Thorhild. Great grandchildren Mary Anne Dowhan of Michigan, Tyson and Keira Lewis of Bon Accord, and Caleb and Ella Dowhan of Radway. As well as numerous family and friends.
She was a strong-willed, hard working woman who loved her sons and their families. She was passionate about playing the accordion, farming, gardening and was proud to pass her talent and love of music down to her family.
The family would like to thank Dr. Van der Walt and everyone involved with the home palliative care team.
As per Annie’s wishes, a private graveside service was held on Thursday, March 25th with immediate family.
