Obituary
Annette PATENAUDE (née Plante)
(retired RCMP/CSIS)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Annette, following a lengthy illness, on May 17, 2021, a few days shy of her 81st birthday. Beloved wife of Rémi Patenaude for almost 62 years. Loving mother of Jacques, Joanne (Normand) and Julie (Ron). Much loved grand-maman of Eric (Brigitte), Anne (Shawn), Patrick (Cassandra), Michel, Caroline, Martine and proud great-grandmother of Isaac and Leo. She will be sadly missed by her sister, Thérèse Brown (Garry). Predeceased by her loving parents Albert Plante and Irene (Perrier) and brothers, Lucien (Fernande Richer), Roger (Laurette Talbot) and Fernand (Nicole Benoit). She will be fondly remembered by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Isabelle Bence-Bruckler, the Ottawa General Hospital and Christine Sutherland for their help and compassion shown to Annette during her stay at the hospital.
The family would especially like to thank Dr Janet Seale, Staff and the numerous Volunteers at May Court Hospice, for the loving care given to Annette in her last weeks of her life.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a mass will be held at a later date, by invitation. Donations in memory of Annette may be made to May Court Hospice/ Hospice Care Ottawa, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Annette Plante Patenaude May 17 2021..
