On April 25, 2021, Mrs. Annette Magdiak of St. Albert, formerly of Myrnam, passed away at the age of 97 years. She is survived by her daughter, Joan (Ron) Pooke; son, Allan (Val) Magdiak; 6 grandchildren, Jackie, Rachel, Cora, Mitchell, Adam & Heather; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Pauline (Peter) Rawlek; numerous nieces & nephews. Annette was predeceased by her husband, Stanley; parents, John K. & Dora Smoliak; brothers, Mike, Peter, Bill & John; sisters, Mary Zacharuk & Nancy Magdiak. A Private Graveside Service will be held at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Myrnam, with Reverend Father Peter Haugen officiating.
