Obituary of Anne LeDrew
Anne LeDrew passed away peacefully on February 28, 2021 at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre. She died surrounded by family including her adoring husband, Robert (Bob) LeDrew, of more than 55 years.
She is predeceased by parents Matthew & Catherine Glavine of Buchans and her beloved sisters Mary Massey (Paul), Margaret and brother Matty.
Anne was born in Buchans, Newfoundland on September 28, 1946. She resided in Kitchener, Ontario for 35 years; returning to Buchans to enjoy her retirement in 2008.
She was a most loving & dedicated wife and a shining example of motherly love. She will be forever in our hearts and remembered fondly for her sense of humour and infectious laugh as well as her lessons about family, love, kindness and compassion. She will be greatly missed by so many people whose lives she has touched.
She will be dearly missed by her two brothers Jack (Lisa) and Peter (Linda) as well as brother/sister in-laws including Roger (late Tilley), Derrick (Sandra), Steve (Pauline) and Dean (late Pam) along with their families.
Anne’s greatest pride and joy came from being a mother to 5 sons who in turn blessed her with 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; Namely son Robert (Rob) & wife Dianne (son Brandon (wife Ashley with children Layah & Charleigh), son Brian & wife Karen (children Connor, Madelyne & Emma), son Dennis & wife Deb (children Denise (husband Lazaro Keny, sons Lawate & LaMarcus) and Dyanah (husband Matty, son Shakhai) and Meka, and Matyse (daughter Kehlani), son Damon & wife Tammy (children Joshua, Alesha and Samantha), son Jason & wife Mary (Jason’s sons Andrew (wife Ashley, son Matthew), Bradley (Megan), Noah and stepsons Andrew and Eddie Chung.
As per Anne’s wishes she will be cremated/entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Homes in Grand Falls-Windsor. A family service/internment will be held at a later date at the Buchans Cemetery.
