Anne’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, sister, auntie and sister-in-law, Anne Signorini of Grimshaw, on June 17, 2021, aged 75 years.
She leaves to mourn, her husband of 48 years, Tony Signorini, son Kent (Allison), daughter Lisa (Andy) and her very precious grandchildren Maddalena, Lily, Rose (Quin), and Leo.
She was predeceased by her dad and mom John and Justine Tarkowski, brothers Walter and Orest, sister Emily, brother-in-law Emil, and sister-in-law Elsie. She is also survived by three brothers John, Marshall, Bill (Robbie), sisters-in-law Liz and Shirley, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and friends.
Anne was born in Myrnam, Alberta, became a registered nurse, and moved up north where she dedicated her life to nursing in various hospitals as a floor nurse, Head Nurse, and Director of Nursing. Her nursing career spanned over 40 years and after retiring from nursing she also took up selling real estate in the Peace Country. Her whole life was dedicated to helping her family and friends. Anne was a very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be sorely missed by everyone that knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Cross Cancer Institute.
Cremation has taken place, and due to current COVID restrictions which should soon be lifted, a celebration of her life will be held later this year when we can all get together. It is planned for Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Plain Lake Ukrainian Catholic Church and Hall, near Two Hills, Alberta.
Anne, you will be dearly missed and will always live in our hearts and memories. ‘Till we meet again.
