Anne Marie O’Brien nee Mullaly June 15 1935 to September 28 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful Mother and Nanny, Anne O’Brien (nee Mullaly), on September 28, 2021, with her family by her side and surrounded by love. Predeceased by her devoted husband, Mike, and her daughter, Beverly. Loved and cherished by her children Michele (Len Coughlan), Mike (Shelley) and Chris (Adele). Nanny O’Brien will be forever in the hearts of her grandchildren Zac, Matty, Ben, Alex, Nicolas and Julie. Also leaving to mourn her sister in Halifax, Lillian Brown, and many special nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors in Special Care on 4 North B of the Health Sciences for their kindness and care. Mom loved her family with all her heart and has left us with so many wonderful memories. She will be missed more than words can ever express. Mom will be resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Friday, October 1, 2021, from 2pm-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Pius X Church on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
