Tucker, Anne Eluned (Nancy)
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Nancy Tucker at Huron Lodge in Elliot Lake on Sunday May 9th, 2021 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years, Rev. Peter Tucker. They are forever at each others’ side. She is survived by her children Patricia Burke (Joe) of Wales & Doug Tucker (Pam) of Lake Echo, Nova Scotia. She is also survived by her grandchildren Abigail & Sophie Tucker of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Jason Evans (Eve) of Wales, Donna Evans (Mark Lowe) of New Zealand, along with her great grandchildren Lila, Eleanor & Macie.
Thank You to Norman Mann and all the team at Huron Lodge who provided Mom with unparalleled care over the years and specifically in the last months of Mom’s life. Heartfelt Thanks to Frank Giroux, Jim Graham and Wilma Stempel for your commitment and caring for Mom while we could not be there due to Covid 19 restrictions. There is no way to repay all the kindness you have shown, just know how much it is appreciated.
Out of respect for family wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be re-united with her loving husband in their homeland of Wales when it is safe to do so. Memorial contributions to Faith Lutheran Church in Elliot Lake would be appreciated by the family.
