Obituary of Anna Elizabeth Louise Hemsted
Peacefully at Strathroy Middle General Hospital on Wednesday, March 31st, 2021; Anna Elizabeth Hemsted (née McDonald) passed away in her 100th year. Dear wife of the late Donald Hemsted for 49 wonderful years. Loving mother of Dianne Denning and Lyle Hemsted. Predeceased by her parents Lachlan and Hannah McDonald, her brothers Jim, Dalton, John, Joe, Ronald and her sister Ursula.
Anna had a long career teaching elementary school in Strathroy and area; but started her career in Amherstburg, Ontario. She was a member of the CWL in Strathroy for many years.
