Obituary of Anna Del Ben
Anna Del Ben (Moretti), passed away peacefully on November 15, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born January 22, 1938 in Modugno Italy to Michele and Teresa Moretti. She married John, the love of her life, in 1960, they have raised four children: Angela, John(Jeanette), Rita (Brent), Roger (Val). A most proud and loving Nonna to Victoria, Matthew (Mel), Nicholas (Morgan), Conor, Sean, Brianna(Logan), Dominique and Lydia. Cherished Nonnina to Alice and Henry. Mom had a huge heart; loved her family immensely and enjoyed all of her grandchildren’s sports, performances and achievements. She is survived by her brothers: Frank(Irene) and Vito (Stellina); sisters: Mary (late Lino) and Grace (Franco) and her many nephews and nieces. All of these she loved and touched. Mom was always curious and inquisitive about life and the world wanting to learn more about things and sharing what she learned with everyone. Visitors are welcome to John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 4 to 7 pm. Private family Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 10 am. For those who wish to join the livestream of Anna’s Service, please visit www.donohuefuneralhome.ca. Interment to follow at St. Peters Cemetery. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a limited number of people are able to attend each visitation period. Please register by e-mailing the first/last name and telephone number of those attending. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Anna are asked to consider the Salvation Army of London or Men’s Mission London.
