Anna Clarke Tuesday August 24th 2021

Anna has taken up residence with Our Lord in Heaven. Anna was a fearless and adventurous woman deeply devoted to her Catholic faith. She had a genuine interest in helping people and a great sense of humour. Anna was born in Royal Oak Michigan. Her family returned to Canada and settled in Uxbridge when she was 4 years old. She is pre-deceased by her parents Lily and William, her brother Bill and his wife Barbara. She was the beloved mother to Ed Drozdz (Taunya) of Colorado, Mary Mayo of Milton and John Drozdz of Brantford. Anna lived in Brantford for many decades before relocating to a remote mountain top home in Laceyville Pennsylvania in 1986. Bears and deer were her only full-time neighbours for a number of years. She worked for many doctors in the area before retiring in 2004. Anna was passionate about holistic health and sharing her knowledge with others. She had a sharp wit and was always willing to help out whenever there was a need. In 2012, Anna returned to Canada and took up residence in Milton. Anna was a lively member of the Allendale Day Program where she made many friendships with staff and other members. Many thanks to the staff at Allendale for the care and compassion during Anna’s residence and most especially during the last week of her life.
