Anita’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our Mom and Oma, Anita M. Schweitzer, who passed peacefully on February 9th, 2021. Mom was the loving wife of the late Fritz Schweitzer (2015) and mother to the late Petra Schweitzer-Isaac (2006). She leaves behind daughters Brigitte (John), Monique (Bryan), and treasured grandchildren Caitlin, John Michael, Nicholas, and Julia.
Mom’s happiest times were spent with family and friends. The coffee pot was always on and long talks around the kitchen table were filled with unwavering love and support. Mom took immeasurable pride in seeing her grandchildren grow and reach the various milestones of life. She devoted her life to our family and her presence will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Hadley, the incredible nursing staff and care aides, her companion Jane, and all the staff at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre. Their very kind and compassionate care, especially during the difficult times of Covid-19, will always be appreciated and remembered.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the subsequent restrictions on gathering, a private family visitation will be held. When we are able to do so, a Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Paris. In lieu of flowers, donations to either Autism Canada (autismcanada.org/) or St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre (www.sjlc.ca/) in Anita’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
Online condolences and donations may be made at www.budgellfuneralhome.ca.
“Thank you Mom for being the best. Rest in peace – we love you.”
