Anica Mlinarevic 2021

Obituary of Anica Mlinarevic
We are saddened to announce the passing of our cherished and loved wife, mother, and grandmother Anica Mlinarevic in her 88th year on Friday, August 20, 2021. Anica was born on July 29, 1934 in the village of Tihaljina, Herceg-Bosna to parents Mate and Iva Brkic. Anica met her husband Zdravko and married in 1964. Their fifty-seven year union brought them joy with the birth of their son Emil. His marriage to Kathy blessed them with two grandsons, Matthew and Marcus. When visiting with her grandsons, Anica would often say “no one has what I have”.
She is predeceased by her brothers Ivo and Marko and sister Smiljanka. She leaves behind her sister Kaca, cousins, nephews, nieces, Godchildren, in Canada, Croatia, Germany and the United States.
Anica was a women of strong faith and prepared her family, in subtle ways, for her passing. She was in the arms of her dear husband when the Lord called her into the eternal life.
Family and friends are welcome at Jones Funeral Home at 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at the Queen of Peace Croatian Catholic Church (9118 Winston Churchill Blvd., Norval) on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Holy Redeemer Catholic Cemetery in Georgetown.
