Angus A. Morrison
Halifax/North Sydney
It is with sadness we announce the sudden passing of our brother and uncle Angus Alexis Morrison, age 81, on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Melville Lodge in Halifax.
Born in North Sydney on February 18, 1939, Angus was the son of the late Angus and Eugenia (Lockman) Morrison. Angus moved to Halifax aa a young man and lived there for most of his life. He was a kind, caring and quiet man who often kept to himself. He was a food service attendant working in restaurants for many years. He was a former member of St. Joseph Church, North Sydney.
He is survived by his sisters; Patricia MacDonald and Marie Buffett, several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Jean Morrison and brother Billy Morrison, brothers-in-law Roland Buffett and Cyril MacDonald.
Sincere thanks to the nursing staff of Melville Lodge for the care shown to Angus during his time there.
A private family service will be held in the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney with Rev. Doug MacDonald officiating. Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Sydney at a later date. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.wjdooley.com.
