Obituary
Hugh It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Sister and Aunt. Angelina Muraca on June 10, 2021 at the Brampton Civic Hospital, at the age of 88.
At only 20 years old, facing extreme difficulty through language barrier, she used her knowledge, skills and her love for her new country to start a new life for herself.
Angelina joins her predeceased parents Grazia and Francesco Mete and siblings Pina and Bruno. She leaves behind her loving children Carol Vieira and her husband Dicky Donovan, Luigi Muraca, Raffele Muraca and Fiore Muraca and his wife Franca. She leaves behind her sisters, Maria Mirabelli, Fiorina Rocca, Rose Marmora, Rita Delicata and Lisa Heron.
She was a loving and cherished Grandmother to Mike Vieira and his wife Kath, Christopher Greco, James muraca, Katelyn Muraca, Nicholas Muraca, Daniel Muraca, Antonnia Muraca and Alyssa Muraca.
She was also a loved Great Grandmother to Victoria, Brandon, Emma, Vieira and Aliyah Muraca.
Visitation for groups of 25 will take place on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 4:45-5:15, 5:30-6:00, 6:15-6:45 and 7:00-7:30 p.m.
A private Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, June 15, 2021
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
