Obituary
Obituary for Angelina Marie Florio
July 31, 1924 – October 17, 2021
It is with deep sorrow and much love, that we mourn the sudden passing of our “Sweet Angel” Mom (Nonie). Our Mom passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by her loving children, John, Linda, Kathy and Kerri.
Mom was born in Fort William, Ontario to Violet and Carlo Gemino and moved to Vancouver as a baby. She lived in Vancouver most of her life until 2009 when she then moved with family to Cloverdale BC.
She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Carley in 2001.
She will be greatly missed, by her much loved 4 children: John, Linda, Kathy and Kerri, 4 Grandchildren, Anthony, Angela, Carla and Lori, and her 9 Great-Grandchildren, Mathew, Zander, MacKenzie, Connell, Joshua, Jacksen, Hayley, Madelyn and Heath.
She is also survived by her sister-in-law Nora and many nieces and nephews.
During her long life, she enjoyed shopping for bargains both here and in the States, travelling with her family to Reno and Vegas, Sunday dinners, playing cards on the computer and being with her family, which was what made her the happiest.
Mom or Nonie (as many as you knew her), was truly an “Angel on Earth”. Now she is flying around the Heavens, with her beloved Mother, Dad and Brother Don and her dear close friends.
Mom (Little Mouse), We will all miss your sense of humor and cheekiness. But most of all, we will greatly miss your BEAUTIFUL CARING HEART.
A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date for close friends and family.
