Angela Allain
1935-2021
Angela Allain, 86, of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, passed away peacefully
surrounded by her family at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital,
Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Saturday December 25, 2021. She was married to
the late Alcide Allain (2017). Born in Bouctouche, she was the
daughter of the late Ovila and the late Sarah (Caissie)
Bastarache.
For Angela, family was her life; she was a devoted mother and
grandmother. She was very proud of her garden and well known for her
«fricot».
She will be deeply missed by her two sons; Réginald (Jeannine),
Rhéal (Myriam) of Bouctouche, her two grandchildren; Mariève
(Jonathan) and Emmanuel (Kayla). She also leaves to mourn her sister;
Irma LeBlanc (Joseph) of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, her two brothers;
Donald (Mélina) of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, Jos of Fitchburg, MA,
her two sisters-in-law; Jeannette Bastarache of Saint-Edouard-de-Kent,
Andréa Lison (Aldéri) of Waltham, MA and several nephews and
nieces.
She was predeceased by one sister; Maria Azélia and two brothers;
Hervé and Edouard.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche on Thursday December 30, 2021 from
1:00 to 3:30 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean
Baptiste Roman Catholic Church Bouctouche on Thursday December 30,
2021 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the
spring.
PROOF OF VACCINATIONS, ID AND FACE MASK ARE MANDATORY AT THE FUNERAL
HOME AND THE CHURCH AS PER PUBLIC HEALTH GUIDELINES.
In Angela’s memory, donations may be made to the Friends of the
Stella Maris de Kent Hospital.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
