Obituary of Andrew Louis daCosta
da Costa- Andrew Louis passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the age of 57, after a battle fought well, bravely, honourably and courageously, with the strength of a thousand men. Andrew will be sorrowfully missed by his wife Angie da Costa (nee Lemieux); by his children Nicole (Evan) Coppaway of Burford, Joe (Corrie) da Costa of Sault Ste. Marie, Dylan da Costa of Calgary, and David da Costa of St. Thomas; by his grandchildren Rowan and Gavin Coppaway, and Khala, Caeleb and Isaac da Costa; by his father Arnold da Costa (Caroline Hansen) of Peterborough; by his brother David da Costa; his sister Stephanie da Costa (Manon DesRosier); by his siblings-in-law Robert Lemieux, Michael Lemieux, and Beverly Bond; by his step-siblings Karen Hansen, Steven Hansen (Shannon), and Michael Brazier; and by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his mother Denise Elliott-da Costa and his daughters Erica and Danielle.
Andrew was cherished by his friends and colleagues at Bell Canada where he was known fondly as a quiet, incredibly intelligent man of commitment, discipline, integrity and strength.
Cremation has taken place.
