Obituary for
André Marcotte
It is with great sorrow that André’s family announces his passing on September 30, 2021 at the age of 78. Much loved son of the late Albert and the late Aurore (née Cholette) Marcotte. Brother to Claudette Lanthier (late Alger), Lisette Haché (Donald) and Daniel Marcotte (late Diane). He is predeceased by his sisters Stella Arcand (Richard) and Madeleine Haché. André will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Those who knew André Marcotte (from the Flour Mill or from Hanmer) will remember his love of song and dance.
We offer sincere thanks to the staff at the Sudbury Hospital, York Extendicare, Bayshore, and a special thank you to his caregivers Daniel Marcotte and Monique MacDonald.
The family will receive relatives and friends for a funeral service Saturday, October 9th at 11:00 a.m. at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, followed by interment of his ashes at Valley East Cemetery. Social distancing and masks are mandatory.
