BRAGA, Americo Farias-(Born November 18, 1945)
Passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington, Guelph on Monday, October 11, 2021 at age 75 years. Americo leaves behind his wife Armenia of 51 years. His beloved sons John (Lisa), Tony (Enza) & Mike. His grandchildren Kyle, Erica, Alisha and Anthony Braga, Jeffrey and Joseph Rideout. Forever remembered by his siblings Eliza Figuereido (Bernardino), Jose Braga (Lubelia), Daniel Braga (Agueda) and Manuel Braga (Bernice). He joins in heaven his mother Louisa, his father Jose, his brother Antonio, his stepmother Ana and his daughter in law Lina. Visitation at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, N., Cambridge (519)-740-0669 on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 6 pm – 9 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 53 Wellington Street, Cambridge on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 10 am. Entombment to follow at Marymount Mausoleum, Guelph, Ontario. The family would like to thank the Grand River Hospital and Hospice Wellington for their care over his final days. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Hospice Wellington would be appreciated.
