De Laurentiis: Amedeo, of Salmo, passed away peacefully at Kootenay Boundary Hospital in Trail on August 5, 2021. Amedeo was born November 26, 1930 in Altino, Italy.
He worked 16 years at Teck as a concrete finisher. Amedeo loved to cook, make wine and work with concrete. He always wanted to make people laugh and to be happy.
Amedeo is survived by his daughter Tecla and son Nino, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grand-children, many nieces and nephews and a special friend Betty. Amedeo is predeceased by his wife Evelina, brothers Domenico (Domenic) and Antonio (Tony), son-in-law Quintino Lalli and sister-in-law Nicoletta (Nikki).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 11:00am at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, Trail, BC with Father Francis dela Cruz, Celebrant. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Salvation Army (Kate’s Kitchen) 2030 2nd Ave. Trail, V1R 3N3 in Amedeo’s memory.
