Death notice for the town of: Pembroke, Province: Ontario
Dear Karen, Bruce and family,
I am so sorry to hear of your father’s passing. I was so fond of him. He was such a kind, quiet, gentle, humble, lovely man and such a loyal friend to my father, Jim Watt. As my father would say, he was “a quality person”.
I still remember him “complaining”- more chuckling ( because he certainly was not a complainer) about having to water dad’s 80 flower pots when he went away in the summer.
He loved you and Bruce very much and was so proud of you both. You are so lucky to have had such a father and he to have such great kids.
I am glad to hear he was able to have a hospice bed and hope he had peace and comfort at the end – he sure was the world’s best patient- always following recommendations and extending his life against the odds as long as possible to be with you guys.
My heart goes out to you as you suffer this tremendous loss and I will be keeping you and Bruce in my thoughts.
He will always be a part of you- with you where ever you go- woven into the very essence of who you are.
Wishing you peace.
Love,
Anne Watt
