Alvin Frederick Rokos of Edmonton, Alberta, Alvin was born at Strome, Alberta on November 9, 1936. He passed away in Edmonton, Alberta on December 14, 2021, at the age of 85, with family at his side.
It is with great sorrow we announce his passing after several months of health issues. He will forever be remembered as an avid bowler, puzzle master and diamond art Picasso. He loved a good competition until he lost.
He was a fantastic husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his devoted wife Lorraine, of 62 years; three children: David (Sue) Rokos, Valerie (Mike) Kudeba, Christine (Dion) Miller; 6 grandchildren: Jenesse (Colin), Kaitlyn, Samantha (Kane), Michael, Madison and Mykayla; great-grandchildren: Emily & Noah; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph, and Minnie; brothers: Orville, Raymond, Robert, and Harold; sisters: Fern, Delores, and Gloria; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial service will be held sometime in the Spring.
We know we will meet again in another time and a better place and until then we know he is with us in spirit.
