Aloysius Wish Frampton 19322020

Aloysius “Wish” Frampton
1932-2020
It is with profound sadness that the family announce the
passing of Aloysius Frampton on November 27th,
2020 at York Care Centre. Aloysius Frampton, also known as Wish or
Uncle Wish to all his friends and family, was born in Cornerbrook
NFLD, August 3rd, 1932.
He was married to Marie Rachel Samms for 63 years, the love
of his life, who pre-deceased him last month. Wish was survived by his
sisters Nell and Mary; his son John (Karen); daughters Florence (Mal),
Sharon (Peter), Dianne (Gerard) and Gail (Phil); grandchildren Marcie,
Melinda, Dwight, Sara, Zachary, Lucas, Samantha and Jamie; as well as
his great grandchildren.
Wish was in the army for 30 years and proudly served with the
Black Watch. Wish was the life of a party. He loved people and dogs.
In his younger years he played soccer and hockey. He loved to fish,
hunt and go camping. He golfed, curled, square danced, cross country
skied, played darts and loved a good game of cards. At Christmas time
he dressed up like Santa for the kids and was loved by all. He loved
to cook and entertain. He volunteered with the Boyscouts, the Poppy
campaign and helped with the Veterans.
A funeral service will take place at St. Vincent de Paul
Catholic Church on September 14th, 2021 at 2:00pm. A burial will
follow in the adjoining cemetery.
For those who wish, memorial donations in Wish’s
memory may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or a charity of
the donor’s choice.
