Allister Albert Dietrich died peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on Sunday September 12, 2021.
Al is survived by his loving wife Rita; his children Susan (John) Thorpe, Brian (Joanne) Dietrich, Lisa (George) Metzger, Caroline (Kevin) Zach; his sister Marilyn Dietrich; his grandchildren Amber, Brandon, Heather, Grayson, Theresa, Erin, and Trevor; and five great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his first wife Theresa Merkle; Larry Kreitz and his brothers Stan Dietrich and Gerry Dietrich.
Al worked at Seagram’s as a Maintenance Foreman for 47 years until retirement.
The family would like to thank Dr. Burkett and the Nurses on the 6th floor at St. Mary’s Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
A visitation and service will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Friday September 17, 2021, from 11:00am-1:15pm followed by the service at 1:30pm.
