Allison Harry Atwell 1937 2021

Obituary of Allison Harry Atwell
Age 84, of Falmouth, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, with his family by his side. Born at the family home on Davison Street, Kings County, he was a son of the late Clarence and Margaret (Allen) Atwell.
Allison worked as a carpenter and never one to be idle, spent much of his free time tending to his cattle, gardening or his greatest passion, working on his wood lot. Above all else he was a family man, who adored his grandchildren and would lend a helping hand to his children (and just about everyone else) with home building projects. He had a keen mind for dates and truly enjoyed reminiscing about days gone by with his friends and family.
He will be missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Judy (Smith); daughter, Nancy (Wayne) Horner; son, Darrell (Natasha) Atwell; grandchildren, Alex and Rachael Horner, Lindsey and Carter Atwell; brother, Gordon (Rose) Atwell and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Verna (Waldon) Coldwell and brother, Avery (Edith) Atwell.
Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). A private family graveside service will be held in Centre Falmouth Cemetery with Rev. Garnet Parker officiating. Donations in his memory may be made to Centre Falmouth Cemetery, C/O Larry Armstrong, 8 Town Rd., Falmouth, NS B0P 1L0.
