Allison Webster Brown, 83, of New Minas, Kings
County, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Valley Regional
Hospital, Kentville. Born in Berwick, he was the son of the late Earl
and Evelyn (Boyce) Brown. He lived and worked on the family farm until
his father’s passing. He went to school in Woodville and high school
at Central Kings. After farming ended, he worked for his Uncle David
Brown as driver/salesman for ACA Co-op in Halifax and district for a
number of years. He then went on to Midland Transport as
owner/operator until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and
golf with his friends, he also enjoyed travelling. He was predeceased
by his wife, Edith (Pick) Brown; sister and brother-in-law Geraldine
and Frank Hopkins; also special companion Wilda Ward. He is survived
by daughters, Patricia Brown, her daughter Jennilee Creaser and
granddaughter Genelle; and Susan (Brown) Bent, son-in-law, Mike Bent
and grandsons, Jordan and Alex; niece, Lynne (John) Mills; nephew,
Wayne (Leslie) Hopkins and many other nieces and nephews. Cremation
has taken place. There will be no visitation. A private funeral
service will be held in White Family Funeral Home Chapel, Reverend
Doctor Steven Hopper officiating. Donations may be made to
the Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of your
choice. Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the
White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
