Woodruff, Allan
1934-2021
Passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021, in the comfort of his home at the age of 87. Loving husband of 63 years of Barbara Walker. Cherished father of Jeff (Amanda). Proud grandpa of Mitchell, Christopher (Ginny Francis) and Rachel (Brody Evans). Brother of the late Louise (the late Hubert), the late Dorothy (the late Sidney), the late Edward (the late Joy), the late Donald (the late Diane), the late James (Dorothy), the late Orville (Barbara), the late Doreen (Bud), the late Brian, and Marion (Roger). Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and long-time neighbours the Murphy and Wasmund families. Allan worked 36 years for the Ontario Ministry of Transportation as a Highway Supervisor. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, golfing and puttering in his garage. A special thank you to Dr. Scott Laurie, Oncologist. Visitation will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Ottawa (between Bayshore and Baseline) on Saturday, July 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by a service in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. Due to the current COVID restrictions pre-registration is require for both the visitation and service and can be made at www.tubmanfuneralhomes.com/obituary/Allan-Woodruff or by calling 613-722-6559.
