Passed away suddenly at home in Minden on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at the age of 84.
Beloved husband of Beverly. Dear father of Brock (Beatrice), Paul (Sheila), Brenda (Steve- deceased) and step-father of Jim (Cindy), David (Darlene), Teri (Brian) and Denise (deceased). Loving Pappa to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear brother of Morgan (deceased), Murray (deceased), Bernard (deceased), Lois (Junior), Linda (Jim-deceased), Marlin (Verne), Karl (Terry), Bernice (Keith). Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Friends are invited to visit the family at the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., 127 Bobcaygeon Rd., P.O. Box 427, Minden, ON K0M 2K0 on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. The Funeral Service to celebrate Allan’s life will follow at 1:30 pm. Interment at the Maple Lake United Church Cemetery.
Please Note # Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, a limited amount of visitors will be allowed in the Funeral Home for the visitation. The maximum of number of attendees for the service is 75 people with social distancing, face coverings, lists for the names and phone numbers of attendees are required for contact tracing.
Memorial Donations to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation-Community Care (HHHSF) would be appreciated by the family.
