Obituary of Allan “Al” Anthony Downham
1956 – 2021
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, on December 12, 2021.
Al was born in Woodstock, Ontario to Lloyd & Eva Downham. He was a simple man, who worked hard, loved his family dearly and will be missed wholeheartedly.
He had a passion for fishing, his hound dogs, his love of all animals and much more. Al was a heavy-duty oil rig mechanic which took him to many countries such as Iran, Russia, and Yemen. Al Married his best friend Karen in 1980. They had two beautiful daughters Kelly and Ashley. One of Al’s greatest joys was working on their acreage and spending as much time as he could with his family and close friends.
Al Is survived by his wife Karen, daughters Kelly (Cam), Ashley (Jeremy), grandchildren Matthew, MacKenzie, Lexi and Ayla, as well as family and friends.
He was predeceased by his father Lloyd, mother Eva, sister Pat, brothers Harold, Fred and Les and his nephew Rob.
